MIKAYLA

Mikayla has trained in a wide variety of styles since age 13. She was accepted into John Curtin’s contemporary dance program before obtaining a certificate III in dance at APAN academy which is ultimately where she found her passion for dance and the drive to pursue a career in the arts. 

At 18 she was accepted into the prestigious ‘Village Nation’ full time program in Sydney. one of Australia’s leading full time dance education academies, where she trained alongside Australia’s commercial industry leaders, including Lauren Elton, Steven Tannos, Devante Latorre, Marko Panzic and Matthew Gode. 

In her professional career, she has performed in a number of corporate gigs under the direction of Stephen Tannos and Briden Starr; she was cast as ‘Lexi dingo’ in Unknown Creative Arts’ ‘Dirty Dingo Bar’ 2024; and is a consistent Podium and Corporate Freestyle dancer for Lyons Productions, and OEntertainment in Perth. 

With 4 years of teaching experience already under her belt, Mikayla aims to create a safe and fun environment in her classes whilst also challenging dancers through her unique choreographic style.
